New Beginnings
Lamentations 3:22-24
Amp
It is because of the Lord’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed,
Because His [tender] compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness.
Today as I was fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit He brought the word to me ‘new beginnings’. Have you ever thought of the source where a river starts it’s meandering journey as the place of new beginnings. A fresh rain that causes a waterfall to overflow or a new spring of water, springing up from the foundations of the earth, all places of new beginnings. Today, the Lord wants to birth His river of life afresh and anew in all our lives.
As I start my journey with the Holy Spirit today… this is a new beginning for me with my husband resting in the very presence and glory of the Lord in heaven but the Holy Spirit is reminding me of how fresh water is that flows from a place of a new beginning.
Maybe that’s where you are in your life today -whatever your situation, the word tells us that
each day in Christ is new. Because we are in covenant relationship with Him and because of the price Jesus paid for us on the cross, each day in Him is new and we daily get to experience His loving kindness anew and afresh each day.
Today, let His presence surround you and bring you to that place of fresh waters. Let today be a new beginning for you. A new focus, a new way of doing things, a new way of thinking. Open your heart and allow His presence to bring you His refreshing and bask in it as you receive it in Jesus’ name.
