Today’s New Covenant nugget is from 2 Timothy 3:16-17
God has transmitted His very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.
Did you know that as a born-again believer, that the Lord has filled your life with divine assignments? There are no ‘chance’ encounters… every person that you encounter comes with a divine assignment. For some, it is as simple as imparting the anointing that you are walking in… for others, it may be a more in-depth assignment… then again, some people that you ‘bump into’ are actually angels on assignment to you.
Jesus uses the Word of God to fully equip you and prepare you for every assignment that He has for you! You are His hand extended! Just look at the life of Jesus… He encountered the woman with the issue of blood… He encountered demon possessed people, blind people, lepers, discouraged people, tax collectors, fishermen, rich rulers, Samaritans, Sadducees, Pharisees, children, woman caught in the act of adultery… every encounter that Jesus had was a divine assignment!
Now, as His hand extended, and as part of His body, you have taken over from Him… Jesus wants to fully equip you to be a vessel of miracles, healing, deliverance, blessing, freedom, and joy wherever you go.
Some may think that their days are filled with mundane tasks, but Jesus has orchestrated your day, and filled it with divine assignments.
Stir yourself up right now, let the Word impart to you right now… get ready to go out and to be Jesus to all that you encounter… get ready to be a vessel full of supernatural power for every divine assignment, in Jesus Name!
