Today’s New Covenant nugget is from 2 Corinthians 2:14
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
God will ALWAYS lead His people to victory in every area of life by imparting His knowledge, wisdom and divine strategy into their situation. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to victory in the areas where you are not in victory, and then get ready to implement the knowledge, wisdom and strategy that He gives you, by GRACE through faith!
2 Corinthians 2:14 Paraphrase – “Give glory to God who continually leads us and empowers us to live a life in victory in every area of life in the Anointed One, who enables us by His anointing, and diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge through us to every place, and to every person in need.”
THIS SCRIPTURE IS NOT ONLY ABOUT OVERCOMING SPIRITUAL BATTLES…
IT IS ABOUT BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT IN ALL AREAS OF LIFE - IT IS ABOUT BEING ENABLED TO WALK IN VICTORY IN EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR LIFE!
MANY TIMES BELIEVERS LIMIT THIS VERSE TO A CONFESSION OF FAITH WHILE IN THE MIDST OF A CHALLENGE…
This verse is given to us all, and needs to go beyond a confession of faith for victory… it is about being led by the Holy Spirit and receiving a winning strategy for every personal challenge in life. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into victory where you need it, ask the Holy Spirit to impart divine knowledge, wisdom, revelation and strategy for you to overcome, and to walk in victory. Many times we do not ask the Holy Spirit what to do… we google what to do, ask others what to do, and read self-help books on what to do, but we do not ask the Holy Spirit. He is the One with the answer, the strategy and the plan, and He is ready to impart power and ability with the plan… so much more than you will get when you google stuff, lol!
DO NOT JUST ACCEPT LESS THAN THE BEST!
WE ARE TO RECEIVE, THEN DEFUSE THE KNOWLEDGE (DIVINE STRATEGIES AND WISDOM) OF JESUS TO ALL PEOPLE!
WHAT PAIN, PROBLEM, RELATIONSHIP, OR SITUATION IN YOUR LIFE IS LESS THAN THE BEST?
Sometimes we will ask the Lord for a miracle, or for healing, or for financial provision… we may even speak the Word and declare by faith, “by the stripes of Jesus I have been healed,” or, “My God shall supply all of my needs through His riches in glory… He gives me the power to get wealth, I receive my miracle NOW, in Jesus Name,” or, “I call those things that be not as though they were, in Jesus Name!” These are all wonderful prayers, petitions and declarations, but if we stop there, we may fall short of victory. We need to ask, believing to receive God’s knowledge and strategy for victory… the Lord’s answer is most certainly going to include something that you have to DO, some ACTION that you are going to need to implement by grace through faith!
JESUS HAS A STRATEGY FOR VICTORY IN ALL AREAS OF YOUR LIFE…
Some people silently struggle in many areas… they may have high blood pressure, high blood sugar; they may have aches and pains, they may be dealing with depression, or they may be overweight… Jesus has a victory strategy for EVERYTHING from foot fungus to financial freedom and everything in between… ask the Holy Spirit and prosper!
Isaiah 11:2 (TPT) says, “The Spirit of Yahweh will rest upon Him, the Spirit of Extraordinary Wisdom, the Spirit of Perfect Understanding the Spirit of Wise STRATEGY, the Spirit of Mighty Power, the Spirit of Revelation, and the Spirit of the Fear of Yahweh.”
Isaiah 14:27 (TPT) says, “For the Lord Yahweh, the Commander of Angel Armies, has an amazing STRATEGY, and who can thwart (block) Him? When He moves in power, who can stop Him?”
THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL LEAD YOU TO DO PRACTICAL THINGS AND TO MAKE PRACTICAL CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE BEYOND PRAYING AND CONFESSING THE WORD…
When Abram changed his name to Abraham (Father of many nations) he was calling those things that were not as though they existed… but if he stopped there, Isaac would not have been born… Abraham had to get in the tent with Sarah and they had to DO something that they may had not done for a very long time… Their faith, their confession and their ‘doing’ worked together to bring victory over their barrenness.
The Holy Spirit will LEAD YOU and impart a STRATEGY and knowledge for you to implement. It may require you changing the way that you eat, it may require you to study, to work two jobs, or to go see someone who God will assign to advise you. When you ask the Holy Spirit, listen for His instruction, and then step out and do what He says by grace through faith!
James 2:17-18 says, “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
The Passion Translation says, “So then faith that doesn’t involve action is phony. But someone might object and say, “One person has faith and another person has works.” Go ahead then and prove to me that you have faith without works and I will show you faith by my works as proof that I believe.”
THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL LEAD YOU TO DO SOMETHING, TO CHANGE SOMETHING, OR TO CONNECT TO SOMEBODY.
I suffered with severe headaches and debilitating migraines for years… I would pray for the sick, and they would recover, but I would remain afflicted. The headaches were continual… 24/7. Most days I would survive by taking many tablets and by continually asking Esther to rub my head and shoulders.
After years of praying for healing, confessing health over my body and using my faith for a miracle, one day, I asked the Holy Spirit… “Can You please help me, I do not know what to do?” The Holy Spirit replied, “I am so glad that you asked”, then He gave me an answer… “stop eating sugar, and stop eating anything that turns to sugar like white rice, white bread, flour and such… the only sugar that you can eat is fruit”.
He said, “sugar is bad for everybody, but for you it is poison.” I said, “Lord, I can’t do it… I love all of those things…” the Holy Spirit replied, “ask Me for grace.” After asking Him for grace, I immediately had the faith to make a three-day commitment. After three days of no sugar, or things that turn into sugar, the headaches left for the first time in years. I immediately received the grace to extend my time to a week, then a month, and now, it has been over six years… the continual headaches have gone, and I have not even had a cold or flue in six years. Praise the Lord! I wanted a miracle healing, but God’s way was to LEAD ME to victory through knowledge and faith actions on my part. Now I am defusing and sharing that knowledge to others in need.
THE LORD GAVE ME THE STRATEGY, AND THE GRACE (POWER, DISCIPLINE AND ABILITY.)
MAKE A LIST OF EVERYTHING (SMALL TO BIG) THAT IS NOT PERFECT IN YOUR LIFE, THEN ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR HIS KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM AND HIS STRATEGIES FOR YOU TO GET TO A PLACE OF VICTORY!
CONFESSION
“Father, I give You thanks and praise that You continually lead me, empower me, and deposit strategies in me, for victory in every area of life in the Anointed One.
I declare by faith that I am enabled by His anointing, and that Jesus will defuse the fragrance of His knowledge through me, to those in need.
I receive a supernatural victory strategy in every area of my life and ministry, in Jesus Name!
I receive grace and divine strength and ability to implement Your winning strategy effectively, in Jesus Name!
I will prosper and live in health as my soul prospers, in every area of my life, in Jesus Name!”
