Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Isaiah 12:3
Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
The word translated as ‘salvation’ is ‘yᵉshûwʻâh’, it is very similar in meaning to the Greek word ‘sozo’… it literally means ‘welfare, prosperity, victory, health, protection and deliverance from bondage.’
JOY is like a supernatural siphoning hose… it taps and drains the heavenly, miracle waters of welfare, prosperity, victory, health, protection and deliverance from bondage out of our well of salvation, Jesus!
Happiness is circumstance based, but JOY is an anointing of gladness that goes beyond circumstances. The anointing of joy can and should flow the strongest in challenging times for believers. Joy comes from the presence of Jesus. Psalm 16:11 says, “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Acts 2:28 says, “You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.”
Shake off solemness, sadness, depression and heaviness and get into the presence of Jesus and receive JOY by grace through faith… smile by faith, laugh by faith and rejoice by faith… receive the anointing of joy by faith, in Jesus Name. The supernatural JOY that you receive will immediately begin to DRAW waters from the wells of welfare, prosperity, victory, health, protection and deliverance from bondage.
