Today’s New Covenant nugget is from 2 Corinthians 12:7-10
And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my weakness, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in weakness, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
This passage is talking about being promoted by the Lord… Paul had received many amazing revelations from the Lord concerning the New Covenant in Christ, and those revelations set the stage for Paul to go to another level. The devil assigned one of his messengers (a demon spirit) to poke at Paul’s flesh like an irritating thorn in an attempt to get Paul in the flesh, and to get his focus away from his revelations, and block him from advancing forward.
When Paul asked Jesus to help him, Jesus gave Paul the answer in overcoming spiritual attack… Jesus’ solution… “My grace is all you need.” Grace is God’s solution to every challenge in life!
Let’s look at 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 paraphrased… “All of the revelations that have been imparted to me are causing me to grow exponentially, beyond measure, and are setting me up for promotion; however, a demonic spirit has been trying to block me. Concerning these continual demonic attacks, I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. Jesus answered me and said, “MY GRACE is sufficient for you, and is more than enough to overcome this spiritual attack, because MY STRENGTH is made perfect in the midst of human limitations.” Therefore, I gladly admit to being limited in my own ability, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. I take pleasure in weakness and in the limitations of my flesh, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
REVELATION IN THE WORD FROM THE SPIRIT WILL ALWAYS BRING PROMOTION AND EXALT YOU BEYOND MEASURE!

AS SOON AS YOU START GETTING PROMOTED, THE DEVIL WILL ALWAYS SEND A DEVIL TO BLOCK YOUR PROMOTION… SPIRITUAL ATTACK AND PROMOTION GO HAND IN HAND!

THE DEVIL WILL HARASS AND TEMPT YOU, AND TRY TO LURE YOU INTO A TRAP THAT WILL CAUSE YOU TO GO DOWNWARDS, INSTEAD OF UPWARDS.
HE WILL TRY TO GET YOU IN THE FLESH… HE WILL TRY TO SEND SICKNESS, FINANCIAL TROUBLE, RELATIONAL PROBLEMS, DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, AND FEAR… HE WILL TEMPT YOU WITH EVERY TEMPTATION THAT HAS WORKED, OR DERAILED YOU IN THE PAST.
GRACE IS GOD’S ANSWER TO THIS SPIRITUAL HARASSMENT!
GRACE IS MORE THAN A NOUN!
Jesus is GRACE personified! Grace is an impartation of the essence of Jesus… an impartation of the anointing from the Anointed One. It is an anointing of supernatural power, ability, and unmerited favor to overcome!
JESUS’ THRONE IS CALLED THE THRONE OF GRACE!
BECAUSE JESUS IS GRACE PERSONIFIED, HIS THRONE IS LABELED “GRACE”
Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of GRACE, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
The Greek word for ‘find’ means to ‘discover’, or ‘to get a revelation of’.
“As soon as you get an increased revelation of GRACE, and how to operate in it, it is the beginning of the end of your troubles!”
RUN TO JESUS AT THE THRONE OF GRACE IN THE MIDST OF AN ATTACK… ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO INCREASE YOUR REVELATION ON GRACE AND ON HOW TO OPERATE IN THE ANOINTING OF GRACE.
AS YOU GET A REVELATION OF GRACE, AND YOU START OPERATING IN IT IN THE MIDST OF THE ATTACK… WHEN YOU LET THE ANOINTING OF JESUS OPERATE, THE DEVIL WILL BE DEFEATED AND YOU WILL BE EXALTED, PROMOTED AND BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE!
Hebrews 4:16 (TPT) says, “So now we draw near freely and boldly to where grace is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.”
HIS GRACE IS ALL THAT YOU WILL EVER NEED!
In 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (TPT) Jesus said, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and My power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So, I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me, So I’m not defeated by my weakness, but delighted! For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to God’s power.“
CONFESSION
“Jesus, I run boldly to your throne in my time of need…
I receive a fresh revelation on your anointing of grace and how to operate in it!
Jesus, when I am weak and vulnerable, your GRACE becomes a portal to your power, ability, authority and wisdom.
Flood me with your anointing of grace right now, in your mighty Name, amen!”
