Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Galatians 3:5 (NIV)
So again, I ask, does God give you His Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
The Passion Translation says, “Let me ask you again: What does the lavish supply of the Holy Spirit in your life and the miracles of God’s tremendous power have to do with you keeping religious laws? The Holy Spirit is poured out upon us through the revelation and power of faith!”
RIGHT BELIEVING LEADS TO MIRACLE LIVING
RIGHT BELIEVING LEADS TO FAITH, AND FAITH LEADS TO MIRACLES
WRONG BELIEVING LEADS TO LEGALISM, LEGALISM LEADS TO UNBELIEF, AND UNBELIEF BLOCKS MIRACLES.
Right believing is more than correct doctrine, or a comprehensive understanding of scripture, right believing also has a lot to do with how we PROCESS things. A believer can be fully indoctrinated and completely understand New Covenant faith, and still live in doubt and unbelief… a believer can have full knowledge on the peace of God that passes understanding, but still live with daily stress, fear and anxiety… knowing and understanding the New Covenant is very important, but processing what you know in such a way that it produces the desired result is more important!
Possessing TRUTH in a way that leads to LIVING IN peace, abundance, joy and health comes from more than head-knowledge, it takes REVELATION knowledge… when I say that right believing leads to miracle living, I am talking about ‘applied revelation knowledge’… I am talking about knowing and embracing TRUTH, and then walking in it, and fully enjoying it’s fruit!
In John 8:31-32, Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth (that you know, believe and embrace) shall make you free.”
RIGHT BELIEVING LEADS TO FREEDOM..
John 8:32 (TPT) says, “If you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.”
RIGHT BELIEVING ALWAYS RELEASES FREEDOM!
IF WHAT YOU BELIEVE LEADS TO BONDAGE, CONDEMNATION, OR IF IT PLACES YOU UNDER THE CONTROL OF MAN, IT IS NOT NEW COVENANT TRUTH!
Embracing New Covenant truth releases the Holy Spirit, miracles and freedom!
WHAT IS THE ‘TRUTH’ THAT JESUS WAS REFERRING TO?
John 1:16-17 says, “And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but GRACE and TRUTH came through Jesus Christ.”
A clearer translation directly from the Greek is this… “The Law was given through Moses, but the TRUTH found in GRACE, came through Jesus Christ.”
GRACE IS THE TRUTH THAT HAS THE POWER TO SET YOU FREE!
You shall know the truth found in the New Covenant of grace, and the truth in the message of GRACE shall set you free!
Acts 20:32 says, “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to THE WORD OF HIS GRACE, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
The Passion Translation says, “And so now, I entrust you into God’s hands and the message of His grace, which is all that you need to become strong. ALL OF GOD’S BLESSINGS ARE IMPARTED THROUGH THE MESSAGE OF HIS GRACE, which He provides as the spiritual inheritance given to all of His holy ones.”
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE GRACE COVENANT AND THE LAW UNDER THE OLD COVENANT
The Law, or legalistic religion is all about achieving… GRACE is all about RECEIVING. Legalistic religion looks to self while GRACE looks to Jesus!
Legalistic religion hinges on you getting everything exactly right, GRACE hinges on you RECEIVING the reward of a man who did everything right.
The Law is all about what it takes to conquer, grace is all about being more than a conqueror!
I remember the heavyweight boxing title fight between Mike Tyson and Evander Holifield… after several rounds of hard fighting, much bloodshed, and Mike Tyson taking a bite out of Evander’s ear, Evander eventually knocked Mike out and won the fight… bloody, bruised, and missing some of his ear, Evander Holifield was a true conqueror… Evander’s wife on the other hand was ‘more than a conqueror. She got to spend the prize money without even having to face Tyson!
As with Holifield, Jesus fought, bled, died, and defeated the devil… He is our GREAT conqueror… but, like Evander’s wife, we are more than conquerors! We did not have to fight and defeat the devil, but Jesus, our conqueror has given us a share in His inheritance… for free… His pain, our gain! We are not conquerors, we are MORE THAN conquerors!
GRACE IS ACTIVATED BY FAITH TO RECEIVE WHAT HAS NOT BEEN EARNED…
IN THE LAW, WORKS HAVE TO ACHIEVE BEFORE YOU RECEIVE!
ACCORDING TO THE LAW, WEAKNESS DISQUALIFIES YOU
ACCORDING TO GRACE, WHEN YOU ARE WEAK, THEN YOU ARE STRONG IN THE STRENGTH OF THE LORD…
TWO COVENANTS, TWO SYSTEMS… ONE LEADS TO BONDAGE, CONDEMNATION AND DEATH, THE OTHER TO FREEDOM, MIRACLE WORKING POWER AND LIFE!
LEARN TO DISCERN… DO NOT JUST EMBRACE ALL TEACHINGS OUT OF THE BIBLE… RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH!
Acts 14:3 says, “They stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, Who was bearing witness to THE WORD OF HIS GRACE, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.”
The Passion Translation says, “Paul and Barnabas stayed there for a long time, preaching boldly and fearlessly about the Lord. Many trusted in the Lord, for He backed up His message of grace with miracles, signs, and wonders performed by the apostles.”

Grace is the truth that will set me free! I embrace You Jesus as grace personified, I embrace your New Covenant of grace, and I embrace your doctrine of grace!
