MISGUIDED WORDS, ACTIONS AND ATTITUDES ARE ALL DRIVEN BY A DECEIVED MINDSET!
HOW TO CHANGE YOUR THINKING…
Start with your heart, not your head! Notice, Proverbs 23:7 says, “As a man thinks in HIS HEART, so is he...” Thoughts in your mind are based upon logic and are ever changing, whereas thoughts in your heart are deep seated conclusions that govern your life – 2 Corinthians 10:4 calls them ‘strongholds’… these strongholds are mind anchors, or conclusions that are anchored in the heart.
Deception that is rooted in the heart cannot be educated out, counselled out, or convinced out… it has to be delivered out, or cast out supernaturally by the power of God. As soon as you notice that a person has deception that is rooted in their hearts, stop trying to convince them, don’t waste your time trying to educate them, and don’t even attempt to teach them… you will not succeed! Pray for them, release the anointing upon them and bind the spirit of deception in their lives. Only the miracle working power of God can deliver them… they need a road to Damascus encounter!
Proverbs 23:26 (AMPC) says, “My son, give me your heart and let your eyes observe and delight in my ways”. Deliverance from ‘heart deception’ starts by giving the Lord your heart… give Him your heart each and every day! Say, “Lord, I give you my heart, deliver my heart from all deception and replace it with your truth, in Jesus Name!”
When you give your heart to the Lord, Ezekiel 36:26 (NLT) says, “I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.”
We all need continual ‘heart transplants’… not just deliverance from deceptive thinking, rooted in the heart, but new hearts. Only a new heart will receive new wine… the bible says that you cannot put new wine into an old wineskin – if you do the wineskin will burst and the wine will be lost. New wine has to be put in a new wineskin. The old, stony heart cannot hold the truth and the revelations of the New Covenant, but a new heart can.
I used to think that we all received ‘new hearts’ when we got born again, and we do, but what I did not realize is that receiving a new heart is progressive… the Lord wants to keep making our hearts new so that we can keep receiving His new wine!
Your new heart can receive and understand the New Covenant ways… ‘as a person thinks in their heart according to the New Covenant, so are they… ‘ powerful in Christ, miracle workers, able to do all things, anointed, gifted and blessed with every blessing!’
Ephesians 4:17-24
17-19 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you (as believers) should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles (unbelievers) walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their HEART; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness (unbridled works of the flesh), to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20-21 But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22-23 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind (Let God take out the heart of stone and put in a new heart),
24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Hebrews 4:12
For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

ESTABLISH A NEW IDENTITY WITHIN MY NEW HEART ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD!
I AM WHO YOU SAY THAT I AM…
AND I CAN DO WHAT YOU SAY I CAN DO!”
