Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Peace that passes understanding is a supernatural peace… supernatural peace has nothing to do with circumstances – in the natural, it does not make sense… you should be worried, you should be anxious, you should be in fear, but instead of worry, fear or anxiety, you have perfect peace and joy – it is called ‘the peace of God’.
When you pray until you get in faith… praying while seated in Christ in Heaven as a king and a priest in Jesus… praying, knowing that you are praying from a place ‘of’ victory and not ‘for’ victory… praying with a heart of thanksgiving, knowing that all things are working together for your good and that a miracle is in motion… when you pray like that, supernatural, understanding surpassing, logic defying PEACE will sweep you away like a river to a land of faith, joy, excitement, boldness and triumph.
That ‘peace of God’ will guard your thought processes, your reasoning and your emotions from experiencing torment.
Enter into the presence of the Lord and pray and praise and worship and meditate upon the Word and position yourself to receive perfect peace from the Prince of Peace, in Jesus Name!
