Today’s New Covenant nugget is from 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (TPT)
I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts.
We are seated in heavenly places in Christ, so we reign with Jesus from Heaven! We reign sitting down, knowing that when Jesus said, “it is finished”, that Jesus had won the victory once and for all!
The way that we reign from Heaven on earth through Christ is with our prayers…
Take a seat in Heaven in Christ and begin to declare His Word, begin to speak to mountains, and begin to use your authority in Christ. Most people pray looking up to Heaven… disconnected from God – that is how they prayed in the Old Covenant… don’t pray like that, pray from your place in Christ in Heaven down to earth – You are seated next to the Father In Christ, and the Holy Spirit is in you… speak to the Father, be led by the Spirit, speak to Jesus, and then begin to speak down from Heaven to the earth!
Command, declare, speak the Word, bind, loose, exercise your authority in Christ, speak to mountains, make your requests known to God… do this all from Heaven to earth!
Speak to Jesus about leaders (the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord) – ask Him to turn hearts in the right direction… bind all deception… speak life, in Jesus Name!
Pray in the Spirit and pray with your understanding, pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. Pray from Heaven to Earth while seated in Heaven in Christ, in Jesus Name!
