Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 100:1-3 (TPT)

Lift up a great shout of joy to the Lord! Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere! As you serve Him, be glad and worship Him. Sing your way into His presence with joy! And realize what this really means—we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord our God. For He is our Creator and we belong to Him. We are the people of His pleasure.

Hallelujah friends and family – today is a great day to be rejoicing. Many of you who don’t live in Hawaii may have seen the hurricane that was headed our way on Sunday. Praise the Lord, we saw a miracle. A powerful hurricane was headed straight for our island – Oahu. We were right in the middle of the path of the hurricane.

I know hundreds of believers were praying and speaking to this storm. The first thing I did was to look at the predicted path, and then I knew how to pray and how to command the storm and the winds and take authority over the elements.

My husband and I started speaking to the hurricane to move northward away from Oahu and from our islands. During the day on Sunday we saw the strong category 1 hurricane moving towards our side of the Island and towards the north shore. We kept praying and speaking to the winds.

Besides the hurricane winds, our islands have daily winds called trade winds, that create a wind shear that brings resistance to other winds moving around the islands. The closer the hurricane moved, we started to speak to the wind shear to strengthen in Jesus Name and to push the hurricane further north. When we pray in Jesus’ Name, we always see the hand of God at work.

It was so awesome to be watching the news forecasters as they were giving updates, all of a sudden, they said “look, the hurricane path has changed to a more northerly path” – we were so excited. Hurricane Douglas stayed within a 45-mile distance of our island as it moved by, and where its predicted path was to move closer toward the north shore, we saw the wind shear strengthen and we saw its path change right before our eyes.

The news media later said “had the storm moved 25 miles closer to shore, there would have been much destruction” … but, praise the Lord - it not only moved away with great speed, it moved away with great distance and left us all praising the Lord and leaping for joy. How awesome it is when the saints pray and we see God move and then we can as David did in Psalm 100:1, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord – He is worthy of our praise.” All Glory be to God.

Blessings on you, Esther
