There is a storm surging over our planet… it seems that wherever we look that people are being inundated with disastrous events and situations - covid-19, racial unrest, political upheaval, unemployment, recession and instability of every kind!
HOW DO YOU NAVIGATE THROUGH TIMES LIKE THESE?
Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) - “I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
As you navigate through these unchartered waters, know that the Lord has made you for such a time as this… He has placed everything you need for life, godliness and success in your DNA – He has given you exactly what you need to thrive in these times. If you stick to His plan for your life, your future will be good, prosperous and blessed, and some of your greatest blessings will come in the midst of the storm!
As we receive a revelation that the Lord plans to bless us in the midst of this storm, we need to consider and realize that HIS PLAN is a blessed plan, and that NOT EVERY PLAN is a blessed plan! Your plan, (if it is not in line with His plan) may lead to disaster – the devil also has a plan for you… to kill, to steal and to destroy – other people may have plans for you, but their plans (if they are not in line with God’s plan) will lead you astray.
Let’s look at Jeremiah 29:11-13 for the answer to living the blessed life according to the plan of the Lord…
Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NLT) “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find e.”
Notice that the Lord is not encouraging us to ‘wholeheartedly look for His plan’, He is telling us to wholeheartedly look for Him…
When we find Him and walk with Him, we will walk in His blessed plan for our lives. Some people are so busy seeking direction and seeking for God’s plan, but they are not seeking Him with the same wholeheartedness. He has the plan for your life on the inside of Him, so when you find Him and walk intimately with Him, you will walk in His plan.
THE PLAN OF THE LORD IS IN THE LORD!
David sought the LORD with all of his heart as a young shepherd boy, his heart was ‘after God’… the Lord said, “I have found a man with a heart after me” – David sought the Lord, and then the Lord found him. The Lord found David and immediately ordained him as king, He set David’s life on track according to His plan of blessing for David. When you seek the Lord with your whole heart, the Lord will find you, and when He finds you, He will anoint you and place you on a road of blessing according to His plan for you!
In John 14:5-6, Thomas said to Jesus, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life..”
Thomas, like many believers did not know how to navigate his way through life, he did not know where the Lord was leading him… Jesus answered him and said, “do not seek out my plan, or my way for your life, seek me, look to me, follow me, I am the way!”
SEEK OUT THE PERSON AND YOU WILL KNOW THE PLAN
SEEK HIM OUT AND HIS PLAN WILL BE REVEALED
To seek the Lord and to wholeheartedly look for Him is to worship Him, to meditate upon His Word, to look for His presence and for His anointing and to embrace it. We have several dogs in our home… they continually keep their eyes on Esther, continually listen for her voice and continually do what they can to be close to her – as they closely follow her each day, they get treats, their meals are provided, if one of them gets stung by a hornet, he gets some vinegar rubbed on the sting until the pain leaves… basically, as long as they seek her out and follow her closely, they live the blessed life. I we would do the same with the Lord, how much more would He do for us!
Isaiah 43:19 (TPT) - “I am doing something brand new, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and open up flowing streams in the desert.”
IN THESE LAST DAY’S WE ARE GOING TO LIVE FROM MIRACLE TO MIRACLE
THERE WILL BE A SUPERNATURAL, MIRACLE RIVER IN EVERY DESERT THAT YOU ENCOUNTER
THE WAY THAT YOU FIND THAT RIVER IS BY PRESSING IN TO GOD!
