Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Ephesians 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

David says in Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

We know that the Lord blesses us, but did you know that you can bless the Lord? To bless is to enrich, to add something good, something needed, or desirable to someone to express appreciation, honor or love. Can we enrich the Lord, can we add something good, something needed, or desirable to the Lord? Yes we can!

Spending time with the Lord blesses Him, honoring Him blesses Him, when we live according to his values it blesses Him and when we sincerely express our love for Him, it blesses Him. When we give offerings and when we worship the Lord with our tithe, it blesses Him, and when we tell others about His goodness and His love and His grace, it blesses Him!

Today, as you pray, take some time to bless Him…

“Lord, I want to bless You today! I love You so much, You are beautiful beyond description, to marvelous for words… I stand in awe of you! I bless you, all that I am is yours! Thank you so much for always being there for me – You are awesome! I bless you with my words, with my life and with my all that I have! Blessing, honor and glory be unto You, my faithful, awesome God!”

Blessings on you, Nick
