Did you know that you can partake of the divine nature of Jesus? As we worship Him, meditate upon His Word and know the Lord more and more, we get transformed into His image from one degree of glory to another – this transformation births the divine nature of Jesus in us. As we partake in and begin to live according to our new divine nature in Christ, we escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
Your divine nature in Christ is holy and pure and is not tempted by sin. Your divine nature in Christ wants to do what is right and desires things that are good, pure and holy – not only spiritual things, but natural, physical things… like craving healthy food, having a desire to exercise and to enjoy pure innocent entertainment. Your divine nature loves to study the Word, to worship and to be led by the Spirit in all things.
Through the deep intimate knowledge of Jesus who called us by glory and virtue, we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these promises you may be partakers of the divine nature. Greater knowledge and revelation about Jesus leads to receiving our great and precious promised blessings and gifts from Him. These promised gifts [grace, faith, righteousness, the anointing, peace and joy] help us to become partakers of Jesus’ divine nature!
