Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Luke 6:38 (TPT)

Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! Your measurement of generosity becomes the measurement of your return.

Get a revelation of this… “abundant gifts will pour out upon ‘generous givers’ with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! The generous giver’s measurement of generosity becomes the measurement of his or her return.” Give and it will be given unto you, press down, shaken together, and running over!

One of the greatest New Covenant solutions to lack of any kind is to sow what you need as seed…

If you need money, sow money… sow it to the church through Tithes and offerings, sow it to the poor, sow it wherever the Spirit leads you to sow… if you need a car, sow a seed towards someone’s car payment, if you need healing, sow and minister healing to others… whatever you need, sow seeds of what you need and you will reap a harvest. Paul the apostle says in Galatians 6:7-8 (TPT), “What you plant will always be the very thing you harvest. The harvest you reap reveals the seed that was planted.” Sow what you need as seed!

Use your faith for seed to sow…

2 Corinthians 9:10 says, “Now may HE WHO SUPPLIES SEED TO THE SOWER, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.” The Passion translation says, “He multiplies the seed as you sow it, so that the harvest of your generosity will grow.”

Start by using your faith for seed… instead of only believing God to meet your need, trust Him for seed. Everytime we find ourselves in need, we believe for seed and we stand upon 2 Corinthians 9:10… we speak to the Lord and say, “Jesus, you said in your Word that you would provide seed to the sower, Lord Jesus, we are sowers, so, as sowers we believe that we receive seed to sow according to your Word.”

As the Lord supplies seed to sow, we sow it as the Spirit leads, and everytime that seed sown in faith produces a harvest to meet our need and more. At times the Lord has told us, that what we thought was bread for eating, was actually seed for sowing… it took faith to let go of what we were going to use for bills and such to sow as seed instead, but we have never regretted a seed sown… in fact, some of the seeds that we sowed twenty-five years ago are still producing a harvest today.

If you have a need, sow a seed… selah!

Blessings on you, Nick
