Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 35:27
Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor My righteous cause; and let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
When we prosper, it blesses the Lord and gives Him pleasure! Jesus said, “When you bear (produce) much fruit (when you prosper and have good success), My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.” (John 15:8 - AMPC)
BIBLICAL PROSPERITY IS A CONTINUAL OVERFLOW OF EVERYTHING THAT IS GOOD, NECESSARY AND ENJOYABLE.
NEW COVENANT PROSPERITY INCLUDES MONEY, BUT IS MUCH MORE THAN MONEY, MUCH OF NEW COVENANT PROSPERITY INCLUDES WHAT MONEY CANNOT BUY… HEALTH, INNER PEACE BLESSED RELATIONSHIPS AND JOY IN LIVING.
NEW COVENANT PROSPERITY IS A GRACE GIFT FROM JESUS!
2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For YOU KNOW THE GRACE OF OUR LORD JESUS, that though He was rich (wealthy, abounding in material resources), yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich (wealthy, abounding in material resources).”
The Amplified Bible Classic Addition says, “For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).”
The Passion Translation says, “For you have experienced the EXTRAVAGANT GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although He was infinitely rich, He impoverished Himself for our sake, so that by His poverty, we could become rich beyond measure.”
NEW COVENANT PROSPERITY COMES FROM OUR UNITY WITH JESUS, AS A GIFT OF GRACE, NOT BY OUR WORKS… BY GRACE, ‘YOU BECOME’ A PROSPEROUS SOUL AND BLESSINGS FLOW OUT OF YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE INGRAFTED INTO THE VINE (JESUS).
John 15:4-8 (TPT) 4-5 You must remain in life-union with Me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine. I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. AS YOU LIVE IN LIVE UNION WITH ME, FRUITFULNESS WILL STREAM FROM WITHIN YOU - but when you live separated from Me you are powerless.
6-8 If a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. But if you live in life-union with Me and if my words live powerfully within you - then you can ask (require and command) whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!
NEW COVENANT PROSPERITY IS EMBEDDED WITHIN YOU
You prosper as your soul prospers…out of your innermost being flows rivers of living water… your ‘new man’ in Christ is genetically pre-disposed to prosper. If you stay connected to Jesus and keep planting His Word in your heart, you will become a spring of prosperity in your innermost being and then rivers of prosperity will continually burst out of you! “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with Me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you.” John 15:5 (TPT)
Ephesians 3:20 (AMP) says, “Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work WITHIN US.”
‘PROVISION’ COMES FROM THE OUTSIDE BUT NEW COVENANT ‘PROSPERITY’ COMES FROM THE INSIDE!
Provision is a gift that the Lord gives, like He gave manna and quail to Israel in the wilderness… the Lord still supernaturally provides for His children today. Prosperity is greater than ‘provision’ in that it ‘overflows’ out of YOU continually, so instead of God blessing you with something, blessings are birthed in you and then continually flow out of you.
HERE ARE SOME KEYS TO NEW COVENANT PROSPERITY…
1. Focus on Jesus and His Word as your source of supply
2. Be led by the Spirit in all things
3. Use your faith for a river of abundance to flow into you from Jesus and out of you by grace through faith
4. Step out of your safety Zone.
CONFESSION

I WALK IN THE EXTRAVAGANT GRACE OF GOD, AND BY HIS GRACE I AM ABUNDANTLY SUPPLIED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK.
I HAVE EXPERIENCED THE EXTRAVAGANT GRACE OF JESUS, THAT ALTHOUGH HE WAS INFINITELY RICH, HE IMPOVERISHED HIMSELF FOR MY SAKE, SO THAT BY HIS POVERTY, I COULD BECOME RICH BEYOND MEASURE.
BY FAITH, I MOVE FROM RECEIVING PROVISION, TO PROSPERITY FLOWING OUT OF ME LIKE A RIVER, IN JESUS NAME!”
