Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 107:15 (TPT)
So, lift your hands and give thanks to God for His marvelous kindness and for His miracles of mercy for those He loves!
The King James Version says, “Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!”
Friends, now is a good time to Praise the Lord! Both The Passion Translation and the King James translations capture this verse in such a great way. The Passion says for us to give thanks to God for His marvelous kindness and His miracles of mercy… while that King James says to praise Him for His goodness and His wonderful works towards us. Today – praise Him for who you are in Him, praise Him, for what you have received through Him and praise Him that your future is secured with Him.
As we worship Him and spend time in His Word, He reveals to us who we are in Him… what we have received through Him (through our redemption in Christ Jesus) and His future for us together with Him in eternity. Blessings that are ours to receive, not just daily but moment by moment through Him (paid for by Jesus on the Cross) and our entire future is secure in Him, we get to spend eternity with Him. What a great heavenly Father. Selah.
