Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
Good morning, today is a new day! Today is the beginning of a new week and today is the beginning of a new season of the mercy and faithfulness of God! Thank you Jesus! Whatever yesterday held is passed – you have a new beginning in God today!
His mercies never come to an end! They are new EVERY morning! Thank God for grace and mercy… grace is getting the blessings that you do not deserve and have not earned – mercy is ‘not getting’ the bad that you do deserve. We all do things that would get us in a lot of trouble, mostly by mistake or in ignorance, or because of lack of foresight, but thank God for mercy!
Today is a brand new beginning of grace and mercy in the Love of Christ! Take some time to honor and worship Him today!
