Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Philippians 2:13 (NLT)
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.
The Lord wants to lead you and give you revelation knowledge, desire and power to bring to pass all that He has pre-destined for you.
The Lord wants to open the eyes of your understanding [your spiritual eyes] and reveal to you what you He is leading and calling you to do. Then once you know His plan, He wants to infuse and impart desire, power and ability. In other words, He wants to implant revelation, passion, power, authority and supernatural ability within you.
The Amplified Bible says, ‘For it is [not your strength, but it is God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.’ - Philippians 2:13 (AMP)
Submit your desires to the Lord and let Him work within you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him. Let go of your own plans and let the Lord make alive His plans for your life. Trust Him with your future, as He works within you, not only will He implant desires, He will impart power and ability to do what He has called you to do.
