Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Revelation 12:10-11
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
When someone asks you about your life, your home or your family, what do you say?
Some immediately begin to talk about their challenges, their hardships, their lack and their disappointments in life while others bubble over with testimonies and all of the breakthroughs and blessings that they are enjoying. Death and life is in the power of the tongue… so what you say is very important, especially the things that you say from your heart!
The bottom line is that our words can either be full of faith and gratitude, or they can be full of regret, pain and hopelessness. Now some say that they talk about both the good and the bad and that their conversations are ‘balanced’…
Words of gratitude and faith are not balanced by words of doubt, fears and words of negativity. You do not overcome hardship by talking about your hardship, you overcome it by words of faith, declarations of faith, by the word of your testimony and by the blood of the Lamb!
The way that we overcome the devil and his schemes to kill, steal and to destroy is with words of life, words of power, words of gratitude and words of testimony from past and present breakthroughs.
If you are believing for a new house, or a new car, do not complain about the one you have now, talk about how the Lord supernaturally gave you what you now have – talk about all of the miracles of provision that you have already received and talk about how thankful you are for what you have - declare the Word, speak faith, confess that you receive what has been promised in the Word and you will have what you say when you pray, in Jesus Name! These words of life together with the power of the blood will overcome the devil and usher in new miracles of blessing and breakthrough.
Instead of going down the line of… “I’m so tired of my current situation… I’m done… I’m broken… I don’t know how much longer I can hold on”… start speaking life! Speak the Word, declare His promises and begin to testify about the goodness of God - as you do you will overcome the devil and you will see the manifestation of the promises of God in your life Words matter: what are you saying?
