Today’s devotion is from Hebrews 4:11 (AMP)

Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], so that no one will fall by followingthe same example of disobedience [as those who died in the wilderness].

The children of Israel had seen many huge miracles, in addition the Lord gave them His Word that He had given them the promised land and that He would assure their victory against their enemies, but they still could not bring themselves to trust the Lord and enter into His rest. Hebrews 3:19 says, “So we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest], because of their unwillingness to adhere to andtrust in andrely on God [unbelief had shut them out].”

Resting in God is the highest level of faith, and total rest can only be attained through God’s grace as well as a revelation of the faithfulness and the total reliability of the Lord. Ask the Lord for the grace and supernatural ability to have enough faith to enter into His rest, then let go, and let God do what He does best… ‘make a way where there is no way!’
