As Spirit filled, born again believers the anointing of the Holy Spirit abides in us and is designed to continually flow into us and through us like a river.
What is the anointing?
The anointing is the presence, the power, the seal and the sanction and the ability of Holy Spirit...
What the anointing does...
The anointing empowers and enables the believer, destroys the power of the enemy and leads the believer into all truth.
The contents of the anointing...
The anointing contains power, life, all of the gifts of the Spirit, including miracle working power, the ability to heal the sick, the ability to create something out of nothing, the wisdom of God and the authority and supernatural ability of God.
John 7:37-39 (TPT)
Jesus stood and shouted out to the crowds—“All you thirsty ones, come to Me! Come to Me and drink! Believe in Me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!” Jesus was prophesying about the Holy Spirit that believers were being prepared to receive.
Here, Jesus prophecies that New Covenant believers would receive the Holy Spirit and His anointing by drinking of Him. Jesus said that as we drink, rivers of living waters would bubble forth and flow out of our innermost beings as born again, Spirit filled New Covenant believers. In other words, the anointing would flow in and then through us and that we would be conduits of the anointing to others.
CHANNELING THE ANOINTING…
Channeling the anointing is first receiving, then releasing the anointing of the Holy Spirit onto people, places or situations by the authority of Jesus, in the Name of Jesus!
1 Corinthians 6:19 says that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit Who is in you. Your body is a container and a conduit of the Holy Spirit and His anointing! In other words you house the yoke destroying, death defying, bondage breaking, miracle working supernatural power of the Holy Spirit in your physical body. That is why the Bible says that you will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover, that your shadow will heal people and that miracle working power and signs and wonder will follow you.
Wherever you go, receive, then release the anointing like a river, be a channel and a conduit for the anointing and let the light that is within you give life and dispel darkness wherever you go, in Jesus Name!
