Today’s devotion is from Hebrews 13:1-2 (AMP)

Let love of your fellow believers continue. Do not neglect to extend hospitality to strangers [especially among the family of believers—being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Hebrews 13:2 talks about entertaining angels without knowing it…

This is very true, we do not always know who we are meeting with, who we are bumping into or who we have in the line in front of us in the grocery store. Some are angels, sent from the Lord to interact with you, some are divine appointments that are supernaturally lined up by the Lord.

The Lord has some divine appointments in store for you today…

There are divine appointments for you today at church… there are divine appointments over the phone, on social media, in the grocery store, at the gas station or it may even be a divine appointment with someone knocking at your door claiming to be a Jehovah’s witness.

It may be a previously scheduled appointment, or a chance meeting with an appliance repair person, a roadside assistance person or a police officer.

Treat every person that you come in contact with today as a divine appointment, an appointment scheduled by God. As you go through your day and your week, you may encounter some angels and you will encounter several people that have divinely been placed in your path.

Be ready to receive, to minister to, to give to, to serve, or to be hospitable to the divine appointments that the Lord puts in your path…

It may be a homeless person asking for a dollar, or it may be an angel!
