Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Proverbs 29:18 (MSG)

If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

God want’s to reveal the diamond in your leaders, the people in your life as well as in yourself! When you attend to what He reveals, you will be blessed!

In life, we can all choose to see the diamond in each other or we can choose to see the dirt…

When we look at others, we can see their flaws or we can choose to see Jesus. When we look at our own lives… we can choose to see our mistakes… or we can choose to see what Jesus has done in our and through our lives and see the finished work of Jesus.

A diamond is one of the hardest rocks and most precious rocks you can find ….to be the owner of a flawless, beautiful diamond is a very special thing. Just so… how special it is for each and everyone of us, to have our lives built on Jesus Christ the solid rock, the rock of our foundation…and to be partakers of what He has done on the Cross for us.. and to have Jesus living in and through us.

I am reminded of the song that says ‘On Christ the solid rock I stand’ – our lives are built on Jesus Christ our diamond. Our lives are built on Jesus, our firm and beautiful foundation.

SEE THE DIAMOND IN YOUR LEADERS

1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 (Amp)

12-13 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to appreciate those who diligently work among you [recognize, acknowledge, and respect your leaders], who are in charge over you in the Lord and who give you instruction, and [we ask that you appreciate them and] hold them in the highest esteem in love because of their work [on your behalf]…

There are wonderful leaders serving the body of Christ… See the diamond in them, not the dirt… see Jesus in them, even if you don’t fully agree with everything they are teaching. You cannot receive from leaders that you are critical of. Focus on the area of their anointing.

SEE THE DIAMOND IN OTHERS

1 Thessalonians 5:14 TPT

We appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, to instruct those who are not in their place of battle. Be skilled at gently encouraging those who feel themselves inadequate. Be faithful to stand your ground. Help the weak to stand again. Be quick to demonstrate patience with everyone.

When it comes to the Body of Christ and the local church, everybody wants to walk into church and feel loved, embraced and celebrated. You can look at others and see their flaws or you can look at them and see the diamond, you can see Jesus.

SEE THE DIAMOND IN YOURSELF

1 Thessalonians 5:15

…always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.

If you fail to see your own value, you will fail to see the value in others! - The bible says, ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself’

How to polish your diamond

1 Thessalonians 5:16-28 (TPT)

Verse 16 says’ ‘Let joy be your continual feast.’

When you walk in supernatural joy, you are polishing your diamond!

1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Make your life a prayer.

As you spend time with the Lord, you are polishing your diamond – as you pray in the Spirit, you build yourself up and you start shining.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.

There is an anointing on thanksgiving! That anointing polishes your diamond!

1 Thessalonians 5:19 - Never restrain or put out the fire of the Holy Spirit.

When you yield to the Holy Spirit in all things, you are polishing your diamond!

1 Thessalonians 5:23 - Now, may the God of peace and harmony set you apart, making you completely holy. And may your entire being—spirit, soul, and body—be kept completely flawless in the appearing of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.

See yourself as a flawless Diamond in Christ – As you remind yourself that you are fearlessly and wonderfully made.

See the value in others, and focus on that - See your own value and receive it!

Blessings to all of you, you are diamonds, Esther
