Did you know that you are God’s masterpiece? You are handcrafted in every detail, and the Lord calls you wonderful and marvelous! The Voice translation says, ‘I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.’
The enemy tries to deceive us into thinking that we are less than the best, when God says we are made with excellence, down to every detail. When we add the fact that as believers we are now in Christ and filled with anointing… all creation, ‘even the angels’ stare at us in awe.
Some may say that valuing ourselves is prideful, but it is not prideful at all, it is simply recognizing that when the Lord makes a person in His own image, that His handiwork is spectacular - God does not make junk.
When believers fail to see themselves as perfect in Christ, when they fail to acknowledge that they are wonderfully and marvelously made, then they disqualify themselves in their own eyes to reign in this life as kings and priests in Christ Jesus.
Do not only look at yourself in your bathroom mirror… look at yourself in ‘God’s mirror’, which is the Word of God! See yourself as made in His image, see yourself in the light of the anointing, see yourself seated in heavenly places in Christ, and see yourself as the Father sees you… ‘perfect in His sight’.
