Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Philippians 4:11-12
Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
True contentment can only be found in Christ, ‘the Anointed One and His anointing’ – short term satisfaction can be attained outside of Christ, but it is at best short term and very shallow! – New Covenant contentment in Christ is not subject to circumstances, it is an inner wholeness that comes with an ‘anointing of contentment’.
The Lord wants you to wake up ‘content’ every morning – He wants you to wake up, knowing that you are loved, knowing that He is watching over you and knowing that He will not withhold any good thing from you.
The secret place that Psalm 91 is talking about is a person, ‘Jesus Christ’ – Stay snuggled up in His feathers, knowing that nothing shall by any means harm you. The Lord is your refuge – contentment is staying fully assured that you are under His wings…
When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. - Psalm 91:1-2 (TPT)
Receive the anointing of contentment in Christ and enter supernatural contentment right now by faith, in Jesus Name!
In His amazing love, Nick
