Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 20:6-8

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will trust the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright.

Did you know that the Father calls you ‘His anointed?’ Jesus is ‘The Anointed One’ and you are the Father’s anointed child in Christ. The Lord SAVES His anointed with the saving strength of His hand. When He saves you, it is more than rescue… He lifts you out of bondage, lack, sickness and trouble, then He places you into a place of blessing, prosperity and abundance.

Chariots and horses represent the natural power and ability of man…

When you face something that is bigger than you are, something beyond your ability, what are you going to put your trust in? If you look to your ability… what you can afford, your skill level, or your resources, then fear, or even panic can torment you. If, on the other hand, you place your trust in the Lord, peace will flood your soul.

Lets look at this powerful text in The Passion Translation…

I know God gives me all that I ask for and brings victory to His anointed king. My deliverance cry will be heard in His holy heaven. By His mighty hand miracles will manifest through His saving strength. Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in the Lord our God, Who makes us strong and gives us victory! Our enemies will not prevail; they will only collapse and perish in defeat while we will rise up, full of courage. (Psalm 20:6-8 TPT)

As you face circumstances that are bigger than you are, find a place of solitude and start worshipping the Lord in the beauty of His holiness.

Find faith building scriptures and then start meditating on them and declaring them over your life, as you do, the Lord will immediately command His angels to go before you, to smooth out the road in front of you, to chase away every devil, and then to work all things together for your good.

In His Amazing Love, Nick
