Today’s devotion is from Philippians 4:13 (AMPC)
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].
I love talking about the strength that the Lord provides us through His Word.
His enabling power, His enabling strength. It’s so refreshing to declare that He is my strength. It’s so awesome to be able to declare and say: “I am strong, in the Lord and in the power of His might”. How refreshing, that we can declare: ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, who infuses inner strength into me’. You don’t have to be strong in yourself, just be strong in the strength He provides. His Word enables us to be strong. His Word alive in our minds and on our lips, is what is continually allowing us to go from strength to strength – in other words, we are continually being strengthened, moment by moment.
Divine Strength, supernatural strength is found only in the Lord. Your and my strength comes from Him and Him alone.
Don’t weary yourself out by trying to be strong in your own strength, just draw strength from Him, that strength that His boundless (endless might) provides, as Ephesians 6:10 so clearly tells us.
