I love this scripture in the Passion Translation – “those who live by the Impulses of the Holy Spirit” – I want everything in me, to be fine-tuned to the impulses of the Holy Spirit.
How many times do we live by our own impulses? If we would fine-tune our ear to God in every decision, all day long and be listening for His leading and direction, we would continually be moved by His impulses.
His impulse will lead you to pick up the phone and call someone with an encouraging Scripture. This is the impulse where you reach out to pray the prayer of Faith with a friend or the impulse to pick up your bible and read it rather than go on Facebook. I want to live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit at all times and not the impulses of my flesh.
When we look around us today, we see how people are controlled by their impulses. Let us be so yielded to the Lord, that we only follow His impulses.
