Today’s devotion is from Ephesians 6:10 (AMP)
In conclusion, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].
If the devil can steal our joy, he can steal our strength, and if he can steal our strength, he can block us from walking in all that the Lord has for us.
Paul admonishes the church in Ephesus to be strong in the Lord and then he goes on to say, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Family, the enemy will do whatever he can to stop you from walking in strength.
If you are weak, discouraged, depressed and stressed you will not do much for the Lord and your life will be miserable, so instead of enjoying the abundant life, and instead of overcoming and walking in victory and strength, you live a defeated lifestyle.
Friend, your strength is not in circumstances, your strength is not through willpower, your strength is in the power of His might!
2 Peter 1:3 says, “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.”
Ask the Lord today for a quickening… ask the Lord for a power encounter and receive POWER when the Holy Ghost comes upon you today! Do not allow circumstances to steal your joy, your hope, your faith or your strength, strengthen yourself in the lord your God as David did…
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!
