Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Proverbs 29:18 (MSG)

If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what He reveals, they are most blessed.

Jesus said it is better for us and to our advantage that He goes to the Father but that He would send the Holy Spirit to lead us, guide us, teach us and comfort us. In other words, the Holy Spirit would meet our every need and minister daily into our lives.  

Take time today to listen to what the Holy Spirit is directing you to do... what is He ministering into your spirit today. Pay attention to His voice and your day will be most blessed of the Lord. Sometimes we think the Holy Spirit only talks to us in the big things..but it's in the little details that you have to 'attend' to... it's not what always what you see.. but it's what you hear Him stay. Listen to His voice...take time to ponder on what He is saying... give heed. It may just be that simple prayer of "Holy Spirit, what are you saying to me today, what is your leading for me today.. I yield to you, I am listening Lord... I am paying attention to your voice, help me follow you today as you lead and guide me by your Spirit"
