Today’s New Covenant nugget is from John 15:5 (TPT)

“I am the sprouting vine and you’re My branches. As you live in union with Me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you….

Jesus declares to us that He is the sprouting vine and that we are His branches. When I hear the words, ‘sprouting vine’ I immediately picture a living vine, a vine full of life and growth, and a blessed fruitful vine… a vine that I want to be a part of, an extension of and be a partaker of!

In the very next part of this beautiful verse, we see how Jesus calls us ‘His branches’ – He says "you’re My branches". Jesus looks at our lives, intertwined with Him and calls us “His own”… then, Jesus reminds us that as we live in union with Him (abiding in Him), that He is our source of life, of encouragement and our source of success - He reminds us that His life is energizing and empowering us and that, as a result, fruitfulness will stream from within us.

Declare with me today “ fruitfulness streams from within me because I am a covenant partner with Jesus. I am in union with Him, I am in partnership with Him and I am daily receiving my promises through Faith’ - Selah
