Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 90:1

LORD, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.

Today, what are your thoughts dwelling on? Is your mind running in different directions with all the crazy things happening in the world today or with the things you have faced this week...what have your thoughts been focused on?

It’s so easy to get caught up in world crises issues, financial concerns and health issues.

Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to take our thoughts captive. Today, let your mind dwell on Christ Jesus, the finished work on the cross and the price He paid for our victory. Let your mind dwell on Psalm 91, the Lord our shelter and our refuge where nothing can harm us. Let’s not allow our minds to be side-tracked, let’s dwell in His presence, let Him be your dwelling place and the dwelling place of your thoughts – today, put on the mind of Christ and let your thoughts dwell on Him and Him alone.
