Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Revelation 11:15
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”
THE KINGDOM OF THIS WORLD SHALL BECOME THE KINGDOM OF OUR LORD AFTER THE GREAT TRIBULATION, BUT RIGHT NOW THERE ARE TWO KINGDOMS AND TWO SYSTEMS OPERATING… WE NEED TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!
John 18:36 says, “Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
The kingdom of this world is a FIGHTING, RULING, DOMINATING, UNRIGHTEOUS kingdom.
The Kingdom of God is a PEACEFUL, JOYFUL, LOVING, GRACE-FILLED, RIGHTEOUS kingdom.
Romans 14:17 says, “The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
The kingdom of God under Jesus operates on grace, love, mercy, faith, peace, joy, by the supernatural, miracle-working power of God!
In Matthew 20:25-27, Jesus talks about some of the differences between His kingdom and the kingdom of this world… “Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the RULERS of the Gentiles (secular society) LORD IT OVER THEM, and those who are great EXERCISE AUTHORITY OVER THEM. Yet IT SHALL NOT BE SO AMONG YOU; but whoever desires to become great among you, LET HIM BE YOUR SERVANT. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your servant. (bond-servant)”
The Passion Translation says, “Jesus, knowing their thoughts, called them to his side and said, “Kings and those with great authority in this world RULE OPPRESSIVELY over their subjects, LIKE TYRANTS. But this is not your calling. YOU WILL LEAD BY A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MODEL. The greatest one among you will live as the one who is called to serve others, because the greatest honor and authority is reserved for the one with the heart of a servant.”
THE KINGDOM OF THIS WORLD IS RULED - WE REIGN WITH JESUS, WE DO NOT RULE!
We serve, we do not dominate, control, threaten, influence by fear, or rule oppressively!
The kingdom of God under Jesus is based on a completely different model than the kingdom of this world… many believers love Jesus, but attempt to serve Him while continuing to live according to the principles, values, standards and priorities of the worldly kingdom… that is like driving on the right hand side of the road in England because you come from Texas… a very bad idea, leading to a lot of hardship, lol…
DEMOCRACY, SOCIAL-DEMOCRACY, SOCIALISM, COMMUNISM AND EVERY WORLDLY SYSTEM IS BASED ON RULING, DOMINATING, PRESSURIZING, PUNISHING, CONTROLLING AND MANIPULATING… JUST GO AGAINST THE SYSTEM AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!
WE ARE ALL SURROUNDED, INUNDATED, AND CONSTANTLY HAVING TO DEAL WITH THE WORLDLY KINGDOM AND ITS VALUES, PRINCIPLES, CULTURE AND OPERATIONAL SYSTEM.
JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE IN THE SEA, DOESN’T MEAN THAT YOU HAVE TO DRINK THE WATER!
AND THAT GOES FOR THE SWAMP AS WELL!
You may be in the world, but you do not have to drink its polluted swamp water! You are in the world, but not of it!
in John 15:18-19 (NLT) Jesus said, “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.”
The Passion Translation says, “Just remember, when the unbelieving world hates you, they first hated Me. If you were to give your allegiance to the world, they would love and welcome you as one of their own. But because you won’t align yourself with the values of this world, they will hate you. I have chosen you and taken you out of the world to be Mine.”
Romans 12:2 (TPT) says, “Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His eyes.”
You may have been raised a certain way, and had values, principles, priorities and cultural practices instilled in you, however, as a believer, you need to renew your mind and begin to operate according to the Word in everything. The New Covenant Word spells out the ways of the kingdom of God under Jesus. Through His Word, Jesus deals with every aspect of life… how to be married according to the ways of His kingdom… how to manage your finances, how to deal with your enemies, how to raise your children, how to run a business, how to live in divine health, and how to minister, lead, live by faith, how to receive your inheritance, what your priorities should be… ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING in life is laid out clearly, so that you as a believer can live and operate according to the kingdom of God under Jesus.
YOU MAY HAVE EVERYBODY AROUND YOU GIVING OPINIONS, SHARING VALUES, TRYING TO CONVINCE YOU THAT THEIR WAY IS RIGHT… THEY WILL TRY TO PRESSURE YOU INTO CONFORMING, BUT, DO NOT CONFORM! FIND GOD’S SYSTEM IN THE BIBLE, AND THEN LIVE ACCORDING TO THAT!
In Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Jesus is ‘the Father’s righteousness’ (His righteousness), so if we prioritize Jesus and His kingdom, everything that we need will be supernaturally added unto us! If we attempt to live as a Christians under the worldly kingdom and live by its system, the things of the kingdom of God will not work for us.
WHEN YOU PRIORITIZE JESUS, HIS WORD AND HIS KINGDOM, HE WILL SUPERNATURALLY PROVIDE FOR YOU! THOSE THAT LIVE ACCORDING TO THE WORLDLY SYSTEM AND IT’S KING, LIVE UNDER PRESSURE, LACK, FEAR AND WORRY.
Romans 12:2 (AMPC) says, “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].”
Family, we have to reject the systems and the way that the kingdom of this world operates. We have to ‘come out from among them’… God’s ways are not the ways of secular society. Now, as soon as you stop ‘conforming’ to this world, it will begin to HATE you! They HATED Jesus, and they will HATE you when you refuse to drink their swamp water! The only time that this world will be open to you is when you approach them in the anointing to minister salvation to them… under the anointing, they will either receive the Lord, or reject Him, those who reject Jesus will HATE you and avoid you until they receive Him… do not try to fit in to their world, keep walking in love towards them, but do not CONFORM to their ways in an attempt to reach them.
Some say that Paul became all things to all men in order to reach them, and that Jesus was a friend to sinners… very true, but Jesus and Paul did not start operating according to the kingdom of this world to reach people, they loved people, ministered to people and ‘related’ to people extending love and grace to them. ‘Being different’ is what makes you attractive to those seeking answers… when they ‘witness’ you operating in the kingdom of God, and living a life of peace, joy and blessing, they will be drawn to the Lord!
Every believer who aligns themselves with the kingdom of God and begins to operate according to its systems, principles, values, priorities and according to its TRUTH, will begin to eat the fruit of the kingdom of God… divine health, prosperity, protection, peace, joy, faith, hope and abundant living!
CONFESSION
“I will not be conformed to this world,
I will be conformed to the kingdom of God and the Word of God!
I reject the kingdom of this world and its operating system!
I embrace the kingdom of God and its operating system!
I am in the world, but not of the world.
I will not live according to the ways of this world!
Holy Spirit, teach me the ways of the Kingdom of God!
Holy Spirit, warn me when I start operating according to the kingdom of this world.
Thank You Jesus that I get to be a part of Your kingdom
I seek You as my righteousness, and your kingdom first, and as I do,
everything that I need will be added unto me, in Jesus Name!”
