Today’s New Covenant nugget is from 2 Corinthians 8:9 (TPT)
For you have experienced the extravagant grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although He was infinitely rich, He impoverished Himself for our sake, so that by His poverty, we become rich beyond measure.
JESUS DID NOT ONLY DIE ON THE CROSS SO THAT WE COULD GO TO HEAVEN, HE DIED ON THE CROSS SO THAT WE WOULD BE BLESSED HERE ON EARTH!
JESUS PAID THE PRICE FOR YOU AND I TO RECEIVE GRACE, “UNMERITED FAVOR TOWARD THE FATHER AND TOWARD ALL OF CREATION.”
Through GRACE, Jesus has made a way for us to be blessed in every area of life! Thank You Jesus for Your grace! Although Jesus was infinitely rich, He impoverished Himself for our sake, so that by His poverty, we would become rich beyond measure. Rich financially, rich and blessed in our bodies, spiritually, in our relationships and in all areas of life!
Isaiah 48:17 says, “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.””
The passion Translation says, “This is what Yahweh, your Kinsman-Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: “I am Yahweh, your God. I am the One who teaches you how to succeed and who leads you step by step in the way you should go.””
Isaiah 48:17 (Paraphrase) - This is a direct word from Jesus, your Kinsman-Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord, your God, Who trains you and instructs you exactly how to go to the next level, and move up in all that you set your hand to do, I will lead you onto the road that leads to success, prosperity and blessings.”
The Hebrew word translated as ‘Redeemer’ is ‘gâʼal’, it literally means, ‘Kinsman-Redeemer’.
A Kinsman-Redeemer is someone who steps in on another’s behalf and pays the penalty, then redeems, or buys back that which was lost. Jesus gave His life as a ransom for our sins, set us free from the penalty of our transgressions, then restored all of those who would accept Him as Lord and Savior to the Father’s original blueprint for mankind.
WHAT WAS THE FATHER’S ORIGINAL BLUEPRINT FOR MANKIND?
Made in His image to be exactly like Him, His children, given charge and dominion over all the work of His hands, reigning as kings and priests with Him over His creation, access to all that the Father has, healthy, happy, wealthy, lacking nothing, and blessed with every blessing.
The Hebrew Word translated as ‘teaches’ is ‘lâmad’, literally meaning; ‘to train, to instruct, or to develop a skill in others.’
JESUS HAS REDEEMED YOU, NOW HE WANTS TO TRAIN YOU HOW TO WALK IN WHAT HE HAS WON FOR YOU! JESUS WANTS TO BE YOUR PERSONAL LIFE COACH!
The Hebrew word translated as ‘profit’ is ‘yâʻal’, literally meaning; ‘to move forward to the next level, to ascend, to expand, to gain, to profit, to prosper and to succeed.’
HOW MANY BELIEVERS HAVE BEEN STUCK ON THE SAME LEVEL FOR YEARS? JESUS IS READY TO SHOW YOU THE WAY TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
HOW DOES JESUS TRAIN BELIEVERS?
1. BY HIS WORD
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (TPT) - God has transmitted His very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.
Jesus uses the Word to teach, to train, to instruct, to impart truth, to correct, to strengthen and to fully mature and perfectly prepare you to fulfill any assignment God gives you. Go beyond reading the Word and let Jesus disciple you through the Word!
2. BY THE ANOINTING THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT
1 John 2:27 - The anointing which you have received from Him (Jesus) abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
Let Jesus train you through His anointing… learn to discern the anointing, look for the anointing, and then follow the anointing. The anointing is the sanction of God. The anointing gives life and power to anything of the Lord and the anointing kills anything that is not of the Lord!
THE ANOINTING IS RELEASED WHEN JESUS TOUCHES SOMETHING…
Jesus is the anointing personified, When He touches something, the Holy Spirit pours out some of the essence of Jesus onto whatever, or whoever He touches!
WHEN JESUS TOUCHED THE BUSH, IT BURNED WITH THE ANOINTING AND EVEN THE GROUND BECAME HOLY AS JESUS STOOD UPON IT…
In Matthew 8:14-15, when Jesus had come into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever. So, He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them.
Whenever Jesus touched someone He touched them in faith, and the anointing was imparted… and whenever people touched Jesus in faith the anointing was imparted. When the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus, Jesus said, “who touched Me, for I perceive that virtue (anointing) has gone out of me.” Many were touching Jesus, but the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus in faith, and anointing flowed out of Him and healed her.
Jesus trains us and teaches us the will of God, the ways of God, the timing of God through the anointing, by anointing His path of blessing.
LEARN TO DISCERN THE ANOINTING ON THINGS… IF YOU DISCERN THE ANOINTING, JESUS IS SANCTIONING IT, IF NOT, NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT MAKES SENSE, DO NOT INVOLVE YOURSELF.
LET JESUS BE YOUR LIFE-COACH IN EVERYTHING, LET HIM TRAIN YOU THROUGH HIS WORD AND THROUGH HIS ANOINTING IN YOUR THOUGHTS, YOUR WORDS AND YOUR ACTIONS, LET HIM LEAD YOU TO NEW RELATIONSHIPS, LET HIM LEAD YOU IN YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR FINANCES, AND IN ALL THAT YOU DO, AS YOU FOLLOW JESUS, HE WILL TEACH YOU TO PROFIT!

Train me, correct me, steer me, disciple me in all that I do, say and think.
Jesus, I know your grace, in that although You were infinitely rich, You impoverished Yourself for my sake, so that by Your poverty, I would become rich beyond measure.
Instruct me through Your New Covenant Word, and through Your anointing!
I will follow Your Word and Your anointing in everything!
As I implement Your wisdom, Your knowledge, and Your truth, by grace, through faith, I will prosper in all things, and be in health, even as my soul prospers, in Jesus Name!”
