Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Matthew 16:19
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 16:19 (AMPC) says, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.”
* The perfect passive participle, here referring to a state of having been already forbidden [or permitted].
The Passion Translation says it this way, “I will give you the keys of heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven.”
Passion Translation footnotes…
“That which you forbid on earth must be that which is already forbidden in heaven, and that which you permit on earth must be that which is already permitted in heaven.”
WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE POWER TO BIND AND LOOSE ACCORDING TO WHAT HAS BEEN BOUND AND LOOSED IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, OR (IN OTHER WORDS), WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN AUTHORITY TO BIND AND LOOSE ACCORDING TO THE WORD.
THE ACCESS CODE TO BINDING AND LOOSING IS THE SPOKEN THE WORD OF GOD
WHAT HAS BEEN BOUND AND LOOSED UNDER THE NEW COVENANT IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD ACCORDING TO THE WORD?
Poverty has been bound and prosperity has been loosed… sickness has been bound and health has been loosed… bondage has been bound and liberty and freedom have been loosed… as you go through the scriptures under the New Covenant you will discover that many more things have been bound and loosed in the Word
Our job as believers is to enforce and establish on earth what Jesus bound and loosed in the New Covenant.
YOU BIND AND LOOSE WITH YOUR WORDS UNDER THE ANOINTING ACCORDING TO THE WORD
THE DECLARED WORD IS YOUR ACCESS CODE TO HEALTH, PROSPERITY, FREEDOM AND MUCH MORE!
LOOK AT JESUS…
HE PREACHED AND PROCLAIMED AND MADE DECREES UNDER THE ANOINTING ACCORDING TO THE WORD.
In Mark 11:22-24 Jesus teaches how to use our faith together with the Word… “So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. (Have the faith of God) *faith comes by hearing the Word. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says (by faith according to the Word) to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says (by faith according to the Word) will be done, he will have whatever he says. (by faith according to the Word) Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask (require by faith according to the Word) when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
JESUS INSTRUCTION…
1. Hear the Word until faith comes. (have the faith of God) To have the faith of God, or the God kind of faith, we need to hear the Word… faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God!
2. Speak the Word and require what you say to come to pass by faith… giving access and denying access.
3. If you believe what you say… if you are fully convinced that what you say according to the Word) will happen, then you will have what you say!
Believing the Word is not enough… hearing the Word is not enough… we need to speak the Word in Faith. The Word is our access code to bind and loose. When you speak the Word, you are binding and loosing on earth what has already been bound and loosed in heaven. When you do that in faith, those things you say by faith according to the Word will be done… you will have whatever you say by faith according to the Word.
CONFESSION
“Thank You Jesus for Giving me the keys to your kingdom.
Thank You for giving me the access codes to everything that I need for life and godliness.
Thank You for giving me the keys to lock out every work of the devil.
Your Word is my access code to everything that you have given.
Your Word is the key to lock out, to bind and to deny access to the works of darkness.
I now loose the blessings of the New Covenant over my life!
I bind the works of the devil and deny them access in my life, in Jesus Name!
I give access to wealth, health and freedom, according to the Word, in Jesus Name”
