Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Colossians 1:11-12 (AMP)
[We pray that you may be] strengthened and invigorated with all power, according to His glorious might, to attain every kind of endurance and patience with joy; GIVING THANKS to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (God’s people) in the Light.
We attain all POWER according to His glorious might as well as our inheritance in Christ, ‘giving thanks’. When we give thanks BY FAITH based on the promises of God in the Word through our New Covenant, the anointed faith released through our gratitude opens the door for our supernatural supply!
THE POWER IS IN IN THE ANOINTING OF GRATITUDE
OUR INHERITANCE IS RECEIVED THROUGH THE ANOINTING OF GRATITUDE
Philippians 4:6 (TPT) says, “Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude.”
Overflowing gratitude and faith filled thanksgiving, based upon our faith in Jesus and in His Word in the midst of our needs brings a powerful anointing into manifestation. That anointing of gratitude delivers an abundant supply!
GRATITUDE AND THANKSGIVING ARE MORE THAN LIP SERVICE!
GRATITUDE AND THANKSGIVING RELEASE A FAITH FILLED ANOINTING THAT RECEIVES!
TRUE NEW COVENANT ‘THANKSGIVING GRATITUDE’ IS NOT ONLY BASED UPON THE PAST, IT IS A ‘FAITH GRATITUDE’ FOR THE PRESENT AS WELL AS FOR THE FUTURE!
NEW COVENANT GRATITUDE CELEBRATES BASED UPON HIS PROMISES IN THE WORD!
Many people only show gratitude, or give thanks for past events, but I am talking about giving thanks for present and future victories and for present and future miracles, by FAITH, based upon the Word alone! When you start giving thanks and celebrating your victory in the midst of your battle, because of your faith in Jesus and in His Word, the ‘gratitude anointing’ is released!
Israel showed gratitude and gave thanks to God AFTER He parted the sea and defeated the Egyptians… “I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!” Jehoshaphat and Judah, on the other hand gave thanks IN THE MIDST of their battle, facing death and defeat (in the natural)… “Thanks be to God, for His grace and mercy endures forever”.
It is one thing to thank the Lord AFTER the miracle, but a totally different thing to give thanks, and to show gratitude in the midst of the battle.
Jehoshaphat and Judah gave thanks, and showed gratitude based on the Word of God… “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah.” Judah got excited and gave thanks, based upon their faith in the WORD of the Lord… God ANOINTED their ‘faith gratitude’, and the anointing of gratitude released the promise of God, and Judah’s enemies were destroyed!
Jesus ENDURED the cross, for the joy THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM… Jesus looked beyond the cross to the promise of the Father that He would be resurrected… He looked BEYOND His present pain to the Word… in the Word, He saw millions of people free from oppression, sickness, poverty and pain… He looked BEYOND the cross at the promise of God, and as He placed His FAITH in the promise of God, He was consumed with JOY and thanksgiving… the anointing on Jesus’ JOY-GRATITUDE received the promise.
Look BEYOND your cross of debt, sickness, depression, or hardship TO THE WORD of His promise, and begin to give thanks, just like Judah and Jehoshaphat did, and the anointing of gratitude will destroy the works of the enemy and release your promise into your life!
In John 11:41-44 (NKJV), just before the resurrection of Lazarus, “They took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “FATHER I THANK YOU that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.””
JESUS RELEASED THE ANOINTING OF GRATITUDE AS HE PRAYED, AND THE ANOINTING ON HIS ‘FAITH GRATITUDE’ RAISED LAZARUS FROM THE DEAD!
JEHOSHAPHAT AND JUDAH ‘S VICTORY WAS RELEASED IN THE ANOINTING OF GRATITUDE!
WITH THANKSGIVING, let your requests be made known to God! By demonstrating your faith in His Word through ‘advanced gratitude’ the gratitude anointing will be released, and that anointing will usher in your victory and bring it into manifestation.
