Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Ephesians 3:16 (TPT)

After salvation, Jesus said that we will receive power to be witnesses when we receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire… the baptism of the Holy Ghost is subsequent to our ‘born again’ experience and the miracle working power is is primarily for ministry… it is a gateway to the gifts of the Spirit… it builds you up and empowers and equips you with miracle working power as a minister and a witness.
The mighty power in you that I will be ministering on today is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16). The power of God unto salvation, or the mighty power in you is different from the power received through the baptism of the Holy Ghost in that it is received the moment one gets born again, and the power is primarily for your life, not your ministry, although there is definitely a crossover, in that both the power received at salvation as well as the power received in the baptism of the Holy Ghost empowers the believer for life and ministry… for the sake of this teaching I am focusing on the PRIMARY difference between the two… therefore I will be focusing on the power of God unto salvation within you for your personal life.
Ephesians 3:20 says, “To Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works IN US…”
Ephesians 6:10 (TPT) says, “Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of His explosive power flowing IN AND THROUGH you.”
AS A BELIEVER YOU HAVE THE POWER OF GOD IN YOU!
If you are a believer, you already have mighty ‘dünämēs’, dynamite, supernatural, miracle working power in you! It is in you, and today you will receive revelation knowledge on how to activate that power, in Jesus Name!
HIS POWER ENFORCES, DELIVERS AND PROTECTS HIS PROMISES!
HIS POWER IN YOU IS HIS SUPERNATURAL DELIVERY SYSTEM!
His mighty power in you delivers and brings into manifestation every New Covenant promise.
WHAT IS THE POWER THAT IS IN YOU?
Romans 10:8-17
8-9 “The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the Word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
THE POWER OF GOD IN YOU IS HIS WORD!
WHEN YOU GOT SAVED, THE WORD GOT PLANTED ON THE INSIDE OF YOU…
THAT WORD IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO EVERYTHING GIVEN TO US BY GOD!
Hebrews 4:12 says, “The Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword…”
Hebrews 1:3 says, “Jesus, the brightness of His (the Father’s) glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power…”
The Passion Translation says, “The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature—His mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of His spoken Word.”
THE WORD OF GOD IS THE POWER OF GOD… EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN MADE, HAS BEEN MADE BY THE WORD OF GOD!
THE POWER OF THE WORD IN US IS RELEASED WHEN WE DECLARE IT BY FAITH
Romans 10:8-9 says, “The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the Word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
The Greek word translated as ‘confess’ is ‘homologéō’ literally meaning, ‘to say the same thing [as the Word]… to declare [the Word] with praise… to speak the Word in celebration, declaring what you say as already done’.
Your first miracle happened when you believed and received the Word in your heart and then confessed it with your mouth… that is the day that you got born again. That day the Word got planted deep on the inside of you… in other words, God’s mighty miracle working power got placed in your heart… from that day you had mighty power in you.
This power inside of you has armed you with power over all of the works of the enemy… the Word inside of you is the power of God that enforces, protects and delivers God’s promises… it destroys the works of the devil, it brings healing, provision and blessings from the Lord into manifestation and it empowers you to live in holiness and enjoy abundant life according to the will of God.
BELIEVING AND DECLARING THE WORD THAT IS IN US BY FAITH UNLOCKS THE POWER OF GOD IN US AND BRINGS HIS PROMISES INTO MANIFESTATION!
CONFESSION
“The Word of God is the power of God in me!
Jesus holds the world together by the power of His spoken Word.
The Word in me is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.
The Word is in my heart and in my mouth. As I declare the Word with my mouth by faith in praise and believe it in my heart, I will receive every promise of God provided in the New Covenant.
As I declare the Word by faith, supernatural strength floods my innermost being with His divine might and explosive power.
His Word in me brings exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think into manifestation… it is the power that works in me, in Jesus mighty Name!”
