Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue…
Did you know that your words of faith bring life? When you call someone, or text someone, or write someone an email filled with words of affirmation, filled with love and filled with the Word… those words of faith bring LIFE!
Proverbs 4:20-22 says, “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.”
The Passion Translation says, “As you unwrap My words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.”
There are so many words of death being spoken today… don’t be a part of that, ‘speak life!’
Take some time today and use your words to bring life to someone in need… use your mouth, or your pen or your keyboard and send words of LIFE to as many people as you can. Just a few loving words can totally change another person’s day.
