Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Friends, thank you for reading this devotion today. Each time we listen to a Christian program on Tv, each time we read our bibles, each time we read a devotion or a Christian book, we are positioning ourselves to receive something from the Lord… a revelation knowledge, a divine inspiration into our spirit and heavenly manna that feeds our faith and builds us up in the Lord.
When we put our attention and our focus on the Lord, we are drawing nearer to Him. Anytime you open your heart to receive from the Lord, you are drawing nearer to Him, and His promise back to us who are drawing near to Him, is that He will draw near to us.
Isn’t our God amazing… He makes it so easy for us to have a relationship with Him, it’s a two-way thing. Imagine if you were talking to your best friend and they never responded back…our God always responds back. I love how the Lord reminds us that we just have to open our hearts up a little… and then He comes pouring in His love for us to receive…. What an amazing Heavenly Father.
Today, as you read this, put your heart and mind and focus on Jesus, on our heavenly Father’s faithfulness… on the Holy Spirit’s hand of direction and guidance on your life and thank Him for His greatness because you are the apple of His eye… and He’s watching over you, ready to pour and pour and pour forth His powerful anointing on you today and everyday.
