Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
During this quick passing season of our lives, I wanted to remind you of this beautiful psalm where David declares that the Lord is not only his light but also his salvation.
When the Lord lights up your life, you have not only direction because of His life-giving power illuminating your path through His Word and by His Spirit living in you, but you also have His salvation… His ‘sozo’ operating in your life. He is your Deliverer, your Healer, your Protector and your Provider.
Through this season so many of us have gone to another level of trusting in the Lord – even those that are well are now trusting the Lord to stay well and declaring His health and healing protection over their physical bodies. We have all gone to another level of Faith. Faith is the opposite of fear and, praise the Lord, His church is not in fear but His Church is in faith, hallelujah!
Today, I want to encourage you in your Faith. David says in verse 5, “In the time of trouble He shall hide me…..He shall set me upon a rock” – friends, we are supernaturally protected in this season, we will not be defeated or downcast but we will be above every circumstance we face. He has placed us on the solid rock, Jesus Christ, who became the cornerstone on which our lives are built.
We are above and not beneath covid-19 and every disrupting situation that it brings… it cannot prosper in our lives. In verse 8, David says “Thy face will I seek” – friends, let’s believe God for supernatural encounters with Jesus through this season as we seek Him face to face in our prayer time, and as we walk in His Word. I pray today for Holy Ghost encounters with Jesus that will continue to build your faith as He shines His light upon your life.
Blessings on you, Esther
