Today, the Lord asked me this question - ‘what are your thoughts dwelling on?’
Today, I ask you, ‘where have your thoughts been going?’ Is your mind running in different directions with all the crazy things we have been experiencing in the world today and with what we are seeing on a daily basis, what have your thoughts been focused on? It’s so easy to get caught up in corona virus issues, numbers, testing and latest news updates and in the marches, the protests and the violence.
Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to take our thoughts captive. Today, let your mind dwell on Christ Jesus, the finished work on the cross and the price He paid for our victory. Let your mind dwell on Psalm 91, the Lord our shelter and our refuge where nothing can harm us. Let’s not allow our minds to be side-tracked, let’s dwell in His presence, Let Him be your dwelling place and the dwelling place of your thoughts – today, put on the mind of Christ and let your thoughts dwell on Him and Him alone.
