Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 92:1
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy Name, O Most High:
I love the way the passion translation describes this beautiful verse saying “It’s so enjoyable to come before You with uncontainable praises spilling from our hearts!” In today’s world where everyone is talking about what is good, what is bad, what is acceptable, what is not acceptable, what is appropriate, what is inappropriate, I know I can boldly say this, “It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord.” Nobody can argue with that, we serve a good, good Father, who is worthy of all praise.
If you are getting ready for church today, whether you are joining us online or attending church, get your heart ready to come worship the Lord and sing praises to His Name. Don’t wait till you get to church, start now, let today be a day of spilling out praise from your heart to our faithful God, Who is great and mighty.
Declare this beautiful psalm of David with me today, “It is good, it is appropriate, it is acceptable and always will be good to give thanks unto the Lord and to sing and bring our praises to Him – Amen.”
