Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Acts 2:18-19 (TPT)
The Holy Spirit will come upon all my servants, men and women alike, and they will prophesy. I will reveal startling signs and wonders in the sky above and mighty miracles on the earth below…
Mighty miracles are a sign of our time… Spirit filled believers will prophesy as God told Ezekiel to prophesy to the dead bones, and as they do, mighty miracles will manifest! In Acts 1:8, Jesus said, ”You will receive miracle power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you” – The Greek word for ‘power’ is dü’nämes, literally meaning ‘miracle working power, or, the power to work supernatural miracles.
The Merriam Webster dictionary defines a miracle as an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs – Dictionary.com defines a miracle as an extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause - such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God.
Jesus worked many miracles, He raised the dead, He opened blind eyes, He multiplied five loaves and two fish, providing enough to feed five thousand, He walked on water and performed many other miracles – Jesus said, “the works that I do, you will do also. And greater works shall you do!”
Do not allow natural circumstances to become your reality, the living Word has to be your reality! Do not plan, believe, or go by what the Dr. says, what the news media are saying, what the politicians are saying… do not go by letters you receive in the mail, emails or social media, and do not go by the opinions of others… consider the Word according to the New Covenant your reality!
Anything that does not line up with the Word or with the promises of God, or with what the Holy Spirit has imparted to you must conform – Expect a miracle and prophesy miracles to every dry bone circumstance that you are facing. Speak to mountains of lack, sickness and limitation, speak to mountains that are blocking the way to your promised destiny, speak to mountains of demonic opposition to your mission, in Jesus Name, and then EXPECT MIRACLES!
