Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Isaiah 40:31 (TPT)
Those who wait for Yahweh’s grace will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their race without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.
Supernatural grace has been given to each believer for everything that they are called to do. Grace is a gift of unmerited favor that gives divine, supernatural strength and ability – grace is given to help us in our kingdom assignments.
Wait for the grace before you step out! grace comes as we need it… yesterday’s grace does not work for today, tomorrow’s grace does not work for today, only today’s grace works for today! Faith is ‘now faith’, patience is ‘now patience’, peace is ‘now peace’, joy is ‘now joy’ and grace is ‘now grace’ – God is a ‘now’ God and he gives us everything that we need now! If you do not sense grace for something… wait for it… wait as long as it takes – stepping out ahead of grace is a recipe for disaster.
Wait for His grace – the Holy Spirit will flood you with it as soon as you need it… until then, pray, speak faith, prepare yourself spiritually and rest! When the timing is right, grace will flow like a river… when it comes you will experience divine strength – you will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles… you will run your race without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.
Many of the hardships that believers have are as a result of not waiting for grace… they may have heard from the Lord concerning something, but they did not wait on God’s timing for it… the Lord gave the children of Israel a promise that He had given them a land, flowing with milk and honey and that every place their foot would tread would be theirs… but, He did not give them the green light to act on that promise until forty years later – if they had stepped out before grace to step out was given, they would have encountered hardship, failure and defeat.
Wait for grace! Be patient, keep the faith, bathe your promise in prayer, prepare yourself and let the Lord transform you and equip you to have success in His assignment for you, and then wait! A runner that dashes out of the starting blocks prematurely gets disqualified – the athlete that wins, waits for the sound of the gun before he dashes down the track.
Wait for grace! Get yourself ready… when it comes, His grace will be all that you need for great success! It will be worth the wait! Wait for grace!
