BLESS THE LORD, OH MY SOUL

Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 103:1-5 (TPT)

With my whole heart, with my whole life, and with my innermost being, I bow in wonder and love before you, the holy God! Yahweh, You are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness You’ve done for me? You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done. You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease. You’ve rescued me from hell and saved my life. You’ve crowned me with love and mercy. You satisfy my every desire with good things. You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky!

Start your day with me today, giving praise to the Lord our God for being such an awesome God in our lives. I love how this most beautiful translation, uses the words ‘With my whole heart, with my whole life, and with my innermost being, I bow in wonder and love before you, the holy God!’. This reminds me of a song we have sung which says ’with my whole heart, I want to praise you‘.

The Lord has given us forgiveness, healing, salvation, satisfied every part of our every desire with good things and poured His love and mercy out on our lives.

Let’s raise our hearts towards heaven and just love on our Father…. with our whole heart, our whole life, from our innermost being… let’s bow in wonder and love before Him, our soul’s celebration - Amen
