Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Romans 8:37-39 (TPT)
Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and His demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that His love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken His love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!
In the midst of all of these things that we are facing…
We triumph over every work of the devil through Christ! You are more than a conqueror – Jesus conquered the powers of dankness on the cross of Calvary, He fought and He won… so, in Him and because of Him, we do not need to fight… He conquered, but we are more than conquerors!
Our task is not to fight, but to receive the love of Christ and to trust Him. What Paul the apostle was saying was, ‘God is all powerful, and the all powerful God loves you, and because He loves you, you never have anything to fear!’ Even a hen is so protective over her chicks that she will do anything for them – if a chicken will do anything for her chicks, how much more will God do for His children who He loves with an unending, unconditional love?
I have a word for each believer, standing in faith today… “you will come through this time, and you will come through with many testimonies! The Holy Spirit is interceding for you, God is working all things together for your good and He is leading you on a path of blessing, provision and peace. When it is time for you to do something, He will clearly speak to you and lead you… until then, just keep doing the last thing that He told you to do in a place of trust, rest, faith and joy.”
Blessings on you, Nick
