Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life”, or in other words, “I am the resurrection life” – resurrection life is part of Jesus’ DNA.
This is what The Passion Translation says about this passage…
“Resurrection life is superior to natural life, for natural life can be defeated and ended. But resurrection life overcomes. Natural life is the power to exist, but resurrection life is the power to conquer all, even death itself. Believers must learn to live in Christ our Life, but also, Christ our Resurrection to conquer all things.”
WHAT IS RESURRECTION LIFE?
Resurrection life is only accessible in Christ… it is living life as a new creation in Christ – living supernaturally in the anointing 24/7
RESURRECTION LIFE IS LIVING IN THE SUPERNATURAL, BY FAITH, CONTINUALLY BREATHING IN AND BREATHING OUT RESURRECTION LIFE…
What Jesus was saying is, “I am resurrection life… anyone can access resurrection life through me. When my resurrection life resides in you and flows through you, even though your body will die eventually, you will never die, in fact, you will live forever!”
Natural life is like living on a respirator and other machines keeping a person’s body in existence… people think that they are alive, but they are just existing from one day to another. No matter how much stuff they have, no matter how much they have achieved and no matter how much money they have… they are basically the walking dead… depressed, in fear and empty. When Adam and Eve sinned, they lost their resurrection lives and went into a state of death that very day! Every person from that day on has been born naturally alive but spiritually dead.
Resurrection life is available to those who are born again… it is only possible to receive as a new creature in Christ. When a person receives resurrection life, it is like a person that comes off the respirator and the machines and begins to really live – resurrection life causes you to come alive from head to toe and radiate with the power of God. Anointing flowing in and through you, energy, health, creative ability and supernatural miracle working power operating through you like electricity operates through an appliance.
Jesus is resurrection life and in Him we have access to that same resurrection life!
4 INGREDIENTS TO LIVING IN AND MAINTAINING THE RESURRECTED LIFE…
#1. FEEDING AND FUELING RESURRECTION LIFE BY THE WORD
Resurrection life is fed and fueled by the Word – ‘man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God’. Reading the Word, meditating on the Word, studying the Word, declaring the Word and sitting under the anointed preaching of the Word feeds and sustains resurrection life.
#2. ACTIVATING RESURRECTION LIFE BY PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT
Praying in the Spirit and praying in other tongues edifies you and stirs up the resurrection life in you. It ignited and activates resurrection life.
#3. LIVING THE RESURRECTED LIFE BY THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT
Resurrection life continually accesses the power of the Holy Spirit. It continually draws from the well of the anointing, the glory and the supernatural, miracle working power of the Holy Spirit. It draws nothing from the natural and everything from the heavenly realm.
#4. LIVING ACCORDING TO RESURRECTION LIFE BY FAITH
A believer lives according to resurrection life by faith – in other words, living according to resurrection life and resurrection power is a continual conscious act of faith. Every believer continually chooses life or death – ‘I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.’ (Deuteronomy 30:19) Are you going to undertake something with your natural understanding and natural ability, or are you going to access resurrection life by faith and do it by the power of that resurrection life?
Romans 8:10-11 (TPT) says, ‘Now Christ lives His life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, His life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God. Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, He will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!’
The King James Version say’s ‘And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.’
Resurrection life is a life lived under the quickening power of the Holy Ghost! Resurrection power can DWELL in you – it can abide in you continually.
MAKE THIS DECLARATION…
“FATHER, I RECEIVE RESURRECTION LIFE AND POWER IN CHRIST NOW, IN JESUS NAME! I WALK IN YOUR ANOINTING, I LIVE BY THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, I RECEIVE YOUR QUICKENING POWER NOW, IN JESUS NAME!”
THE RESURRECTION LIFE OF JESUS INHABITS MY BODY, MIRACLE WORKING POWER CONTINUALLY FLOWS INTO ME AND THROUGH ME, IN JESUS NAME!
