Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 23:2-3 (TPT)
He offers a resting place for me in His luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where He restores and revives my life. He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure and leads me along in His footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to His name.
Jesus is the resting place, He is our Psalms 91 secret place… He is the safe, secret resting place beside still waters, He is our oasis of love and our quiet brook of bliss and He is the pathway to the Father’s pleasure. See yourself in Christ – see yourself abiding in Him, resting in Him… not striving – see yourself approved in Him, loved and fully embraced in Him… see yourself whole in Him and see yourself as the righteousness of the Father in Christ! – As you do, meditate upon this next scripture…
Ephesians 3:16-19 (TPT) - I pray that He would unveil within you the unlimited riches of His glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with His divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of His love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!
Rest in Christ, your resting place today, as you do the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of His love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions and the power of that ‘agápē’ love operating in and through you.
