Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Ephesians 2:10 (AMP)

We are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].

Ask the Lord to give you a revelation of who you are in Christ… on Sunday, and in yesterday’s devotional we talked about who God is… it is vitally important to know and understand God, who He is, what His values are and how He operates, but it is almost as important to understand who we are in Christ.

You are His workmanship, His own master work, a work of art, created in Christ Jesus, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and ready to be used for good works, which God prepared for us beforehand.

As a born-again believer in Christ, you carry His anointing, and by grace, you can walk in His ability and do what Jesus did and even greater things… in John 14:12 Jesus says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

As a born-again believer you have been reborn from above… you are spiritually transformed, renewed, and ready to be used for good works, and as you grow in God, you are also growing in power as you remain in a continual state of transformation in Christ.

Do you think that Jesus was afraid that a leper would touch Him and infect Him? Do you think that Jesus hid in His house because of plagues, threats or infectious diseases? Why was He not afraid… why did He go out regardless of danger… how could He be so bold? Simple answer… He knew Who He was and He ‘KNEW’ Who the Father was! He was fully convinced and fully engaged in total faith.

You may say, “well, I am not Jesus” – think about it for a moment… who are you?

Do you have a revelation that YOU are His workmanship, His own master work, a work of art, created in Christ Jesus, reborn from above, spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used for good works, which God prepared for you beforehand - taking paths which He set, so that YOU would walk in them - living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for you?

Friend, as a born-again believer, you are ‘in Christ’ – you are anointed, you have been perfected, you have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness, you are a priest, you are a king, you have power over all the works of the devil and you are Jesus’ hand extended!

John G Lake knew who he was in Christ in the midst of thousands dying during the bubonic plague… in the early 1900’s as the South African Government was battling with the many deaths caused by a deadly plague which was sweeping through an area, Lake, wanting to go in and help, scooped some saliva and foam from a dead man’s mouth and told the doctors to observe the disease under a microscope. After doing so, he took the foam into his hand and then again then put it under the microscope. This time the deadly disease was eradicated… as soon as it touched his hand, the same disease that killed others immediately died. Dr. Lake explained “The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Rom. 8:2) He explained how the Life of God in a believer could eradicate sickness and disease — hence the doctors allowed him to go and help in the plague riddled area.

Thousands were instantly healed from many diseases after one touch from John G Lake, the dead were raised and many signs and wonders were performed in Jesus Name… in five years of ministry, over 1,000,000 converts received Christ, 625 churches were established and 1,250 ministers.

Esther’s grandfather was one of Lake’s disciples… he was used in a mighty way and even raised his own daughter, who was stillborn from the dead… he named her Faith.

Knowing your identity in Christ will position you to receive the boldness, the faith and the anointing to step out as Jesus’ hand extended in this time of crises!

In His amazing love, Nick
