The bible says in Romans 1:16 that the gospel of Christ (which is the New Covenant in Christ) is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes… Our covenant is a covenant that operates by the ‘dü’nämes’ [explosive miracle working power] of God. Paul the apostle says that we need to EXPERIENCE the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to us through faith. Then our lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through us.
The Lord wants to flood you with His power and then pour His power out of you to others as an advertisement of His immense power. This is not for the sake of just being powerful, the Lord’s power needs to be displayed and advertised as a beacon of hope to a fearful, lost and dying world.
When you watch the news or read about things in social media or online, you hear horror stories concerning the pandemic outbreak of the coronavirus. People are panicking and fear is raging as never before on a global scale – many churches and believers are panicking closing down services and isolating themselves in fear of being infected – they are doing this instead of rising up in power and advertising the immense power of God as a beacon of hope.
This is what happens when dead religion starts becoming commonplace – a form of godliness without the power. Social gatherings in the name of Jesus without any power can gather large crowds, but they are the first to shut down out of fear in the face of a global pandemic. Let us not judge them, but let us pray for them to receive revelation about what true Christianity is all about… the power of God unto salvation.
In these times of hopelessness, helplessness and fear, Jesus wants to rise up with immense power among His true disciples as lighthouses of power in dark places. We have the anointing to destroy this modern day plague at it’s roots. Get filled… continue to ‘be, being filled’… then go forth in His power as an advertisement of His immense power, in Jesus Name!
This is our time to represent Jesus and the power of His salvation – it is the time to demonstrate His immense power in a world in crises. Jesus is on the scene… you are His hands, His feet, His mouth… together, we are His body – rise up in His authority and let Him demonstrate His miracle working power through you!
